Throughout the process, we stayed focused on the details. Every material, curve, and shade was carefully selected to blend with the character of Pretoria North, offering shelter, style, and adaptability in the face of extreme heat.
Large windows were carefully shaded and positioned with precision, guided by computer solar 3D modeling to optimize solar heat gain in the home. To get it just right, our team conducted a thorough solar study. The goal was simple: to ensure the house only receives direct sunlight from May through August—the winter months.
This approach was key to managing the intense heat that rolls in during spring and summer, striking a perfect balance between light and comfort.
